Oh, and it snowed yesterday. Was literally jumping up and down.

It Snowed Yesterday
I don't like to post on here without at least one photo. But I don't really have time to find a photo. I don't really have time to sit and write this. I have a lot of work that I have to do right now. But I was reminded by a good friend of mine last night that I can be thankful for all this work that I get to do. And that I can do it for God's glory. I've also been reminded lately that I can't do His work on my own. Good reminders in the midst of slightly overwhelming circumstances. Thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness. Thank you for loving me.

The Hartsfield's
I have been welcomed into the home of the Hartsfield's from Texas for this Thanksgiving holiday. Kathleen's is a friendship that has changed my life in so many ways. To be able to spend such a time of the year with her and her family has been a treasure beyond what I could have even imagined. And to come here with another of our closest friends, Ahnna...I couldn't have asked for a more enriching group of people.

Cotton and monkeys
Sometimes you meet people and they gradually become your close friends over time.
Other times you meet people and instantly wish you could have grown up with them as your next door neighbor best friend. This would be the case with Becca (far left) and Kaelin (middle right). They are two new freshmen here and super fly. Cari and I got to photo venture with them around a cotton field and relax in this lovely cool September air. I couldn't think of a better way to spend the labor day break.
The way the Lord brings together certain friendships amazes me. Remembering my freshman year last year, the people he brought in my life, and how they have affected my life...it's mind-blowing. He knows exactly what we need and is faithful to give it. Whether it's finances, extra strength, or a friend. Or two. He will always be faithful to provide.
Photos thanks to Becca.

The New Old
Today was one of the happiest days. My church just moved into a new (but super old) building down the street and it is beautiful. Praise be to God and God alone for this immense blessing upon us. Today, we had our last meeting at the old building and then an open house at the new one. It was so joyful and so full of gratitude and unity. I seriously could talk on and on about the many many rooms and the long brick hallway and the multiple staircases and the gorgeous high ceilings and the attic. Oh, the attic. Any artist's dream. Here's a few photos of the attic and some of the kids from church. I'm so thankful for these kids, especially when I sorely miss my nieces and nephews.
This church family has been such a huge and vital part of my life at school. I cannot explain how God has shown his goodness to me and so many others through this body of believers.
