Semester's Film: Downtown

I went and picked up three rolls of film photos at Target today. They were taken over the entire fall semester, and many I had completely forgotten about. I looked at them all at the counter before I left and was standing there by myself laughing at some of the great memories captured. The guy behind the counter looks at me and says, "Are you okay?" I told him yes and that the pictures were just so funny. He said, "Oh, those pictures make you really happy." Haha, yes. Yes they do.

Here are a few that were taken right at the beginning of the semester before and after church.

Film Friday

Remember mini Douglas? Yeah, I do too. And I'm missing the life-size one. A medley of my summer adventures...

Film Friday

Remember how I told you I was going adventuring to Winter Haven with my sister and cousin? Well, we went. And it was one great day. Andy's drive-in restaurant, Richard's fine coffee, antique shop hopping, book store browsing, rain shine, Zaxby's, and Cowboys and Aliens at the drive-in. This week's photos are a very small summary of this wonderful day. Taken, again, with the lovely Minolta XE-7.

As soon as I get the other pictures developed I'll put up more from this day, along with a surprise that we found on the way home. It's a good surprise, you'll want to see it.

Film Friday

Film Friday is a grand event!
Every week look forward to four film photos on Friday.
Soon I'll be starting a film photography class, complete with full darkroom access.
Incredibly stoked.

This week's photos are from a picnic Danielle and I went on with our lovely friend, Rayna.
We sat on top of a hilltop and enjoyed the sunset as we ate and talked.
Taken with a Minolta XE-7.

First Sale!

Wow, I cannot thank everyone enough for all the positive feedback and encouragement about Fabric & Shoestring. I've already had a few sales already! This is me sending out my first package (taken with a Minolta XE-7, which I'm growing very partial to). Thanks Christopher for buying my vintage fish suspenders!

May God alone be praised for how well this is all going. And may he be the one praised for any future success as well. For this blog and shop would be nothing without his blessing on them.

(Heading to Winter Haven tomorrow for a day out with younger sister Danielle and cousin Posh Josh. Be ready for some Film Friday!)
