Warm Wind

This is Lauren. Isn't she beautiful? We went to K-8 school together but didn't know each other too well at the time. She was nice enough to let me take pictures of her this summer. Though the heat was brutal in the Florida sun, we had a really great time. Followed the shoot with lunch from a local produce market and some good conversation. Overall, 'twas a truly lovely summer day.

If you didn't know already, I am the second youngest of 9 and an aunt to 12 little ones. Today we celebrated my nephew Douglas' 5th birthday. Here's some snapshots from today to show you some of my favorite things about our birthday parties (and my family in general).
